When it comes to the 2024 NFL Draft, we're still a bit sad that the festivities won't be local this year after a stellar weekend of football in Kansas City. However, we're always enamored with the drama of the draft itself. With the regular season finished, we thought it was a good time to update the official draft order for this spring's event.
For teams still in the playoff hunt, like the Chiefs, the order is still being sorted out as teams fight for their lives in the NFL postseason. But for a majority of teams, the NFL draft order has been set.
For instance, the primary rivals for the Chiefs already know where they are picking—the earliest being the Los Angeles Chargers who grabbed the No. 5 overall pick in the draft after falling to the Chiefs by a final of 13-12 in a meaningless Week 18 contest. With the win, the Chiefs went to 11-6 on the year while the Chargers fell to 5-12.
As for the other AFC West rivals, the Denver Broncos and Las Vegas Raiders both finished with 8-9 records respectively after the Raiders beat the visiting Broncos in Week 18 to even their records. The Broncos have the edge to pick first thanks to tiebreakers, but both will make their selections back to back at No. 12 and 13..
