The Chiefs are favored to contend for another Super Bowl, but the Arrowhead Addict podcast digs into the biggest questions still facing the roster after the draft and rookie minicamp.
Despite the unmatched success of the Kansas City Chiefs over the last few seasons, and the fact that they're once again expected to make a run at yet another Super Bowl title in 2025, the franchise is not without its questions.
Every team in the National Football League has issues to address and concerns to monitor. Some players are trying to return from injuries, while others are doing their best to keep from aging. Some rookies are going to be adjusting to a new level of competition, while untested players will find themselves thrown into the fire.
For the Chiefs, the questions get a bit more specific when looking at the offensive side, although there are plenty for the defense as well. And that's where Matt Verderame and Patrick Allen wade in on the latest episode of the Arrowhead Addict podcast.
Given the time of year on the calendar, roster construction is mostly finished following the frenzy of early free agency and the completion of another NFL Draft. The team's rookie minicamp is also in the rearview mirror, so the Chiefs' roster is largely set for now.
On this episode of the AA podcast, we ask the burning questions everyone is asking following the draft. Can Josh Simmons really provide a long-term answer at left tackle? Are Andy Heck and the offensive line ready for prime time? Did Brett Veach do enough to back up Chris Jones and protect Patrick Mahomes? Listen for all of this and much more.
