How to listen to the Chiefs vs Browns NFL game in Week 15 on the radio
By Matt Conner
One of these things is not like the other. Therein lies the danger.
The Kansas City Chiefs' scheduled visit to face the Cleveland Browns in Week 15 likely sounded like a much more competitive venture back in May when the schedule was first announced. The Browns were fresh off of a playoff appearance a year ago, and any defense featuring Myles Garrett and company can give a team fits. But this disparity doesn't make for good drama.
That's precisely why the Chiefs should be laser-focused on this game before them, because they can ill afford to look too far ahead. At the present moment, the Chiefs are 12-1 and hold a two-game edge in the conference for the top seed (and the much-needed bye week). The Browns have won 3 games all season and are jostling for NFL draft positioning.
But there are always motivational victories for teams at this point in the season like the Browns, something upon which the coaching staff can hang their hats heading into another long winter with the goal of saying, "That's what is possible!" The Chiefs don't want to provide that sort of fodder.
How motivated will the Chiefs be? How dangerous will the Browns look? Is this a trap game at all knowing the Texans and Steelers are next on the schedule? Let's hope the Chiefs are ready to take care of business.
