Another week, another Harrison Butker clutch field goal. I saw it, you saw it, we all saw it. In the final second of overtime, the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Indianapolis Colts with a 40-yard field goal from Butker's golden foot.
In case you didn't know, Butker has now gone 13-of-13 on kicks when the Chiefs were either trailing or tied with less than two minutes to go in the game (or in OT). The last time he missed one of these kicks was 2019!
I've been a Butker truther for years, but this just continues to back it up. Harrison has his hiccups from time to time (he did miss a kick on Sunday night, too), but I don't think there is another kicker that the Chiefs would want. He's won regular-season games. He's won overtime games. He's won Super Bowls.

I know Butker has his haters (which is crazy—it's not like he caused a multi-car pileup that almost killed people), but his on-field work is indisputable. Will I be frustrated the next time Butker misses an extra point? Probably. Will I be baffled when he misses a gimme field goal? Absolutely. Will I also know that he won't miss the game-winning kick when it comes right down to it? Hell yeah!

Listen, nobody is perfect, even though we want Butt to make 'em all, sometimes you're not, it's just the cycle of life, that's where adversity comes in, that's why I support Butt, cuz he stands tall every time and he faces it like a man."
Yes, you read that right. And for emphasis, Jones said it again: "Two middle fingers to anybody who doubts my kicker."
