Derek Carr knows a thing or two about the atmosphere at Arrowhead Stadium. As the longtime quarterback of the Oakland Raiders (and then Las Vegas), Carr has more experience playing in front of Chiefs Kingdom than most, which is why his respect for the place should mean so much to K.C. fans.

Both Derek and David Carr enjoyed professional careers of a decade-plus in the NFL, and together, they've been sharing their perspectives and memories on the Home Grown Network, a YouTube channel that serves as their post-career outlet.

In a recent video, Derek Carr shared the five stadiums that were the toughest places to play. Carr had an interesting take on No. 1—we'll get to that—but first he shared his admiration for Arrowhead.

"It was the hardest place I ever had to play as an opposing player. It was unbelievably loud. The fans are so close to the sidelines. They're right on top of you.

"We had some battles there, and I tell you what, I'll never forget sitting there on the sideline. It was one of those games we weren't doing well, and they started chanting Tyreek Hill's name. ‘Tyreek! Tyreek.’ And we hit a line drive punt straight to him. And as fast as that punt went to him, he ran it back to the end zone. And I'll never forget me and Rodney Hudson just looking at each other like, ‘What the heck just happened?’

"And so many great memories there of winning games, comebacks, great throws, getting hit in the back of the head. All different kinds of things. You guys are great, passionate fans. I have nothing but respect for Chief fans."

Carr's takes are quite positive for a guy who went 3-15 against the Chiefs overall as a starting quarterback, but Kansas City fans will certainly appreciate it.

As for No. 1, Carr says playing in Oakland was the toughest place to play, which he described as "smelling like P.F. Chang's, but they didn't sell it there." He also said, "You played on literally cement half the year." He also gave a big shout-out to loyal Raiders fans.
