Ashton Jeanty and Kenneth Walker. Travis Kelce and Brock Bowers. Patrick Mahomes and Maxx Crosby. There will be no shortage of stars at Allegiant Stadium when the Kansas City Chiefs and Las Vegas Raiders take the field in Week 4.

What was originally seen as a low-interest and perhaps even lopsided matchup between AFC West rivals has blossomed into a matchup for divisional supremacy. One year ago, the Chiefs and Raiders combined for 9 total wins. This year, both teams are among the few undefeateds left in the NFL, and Sunday's winner will enjoy a one-game lead in the AFC West.

For the Chiefs, Week 4 is a chance to close out the season's first month with clear momentum heading into the bye. For the Raiders, it's a real opportunity to earn league-wide respect early in Klint Kubiak's tenure after years of misery and a head coaching carousel.

Biggest Chiefs storylines heading into Week 4

Will Chamarri Conner make his '26 debut?

After missing the first three games with a knee injury (stemming from a training camp collision with wide receiver Tyquan Thornton), Chamarri Conner should make his debut in the Chiefs' secondary. After watching the Chiefs' safeties struggle against Malik Willis in Miami a week ago, some help on the back end will be welcome, especially for a young safety entering his contract season. Perhaps Alohi Gilman and/or Jaden Hicks will also get some rest for the first time this season.

How will the Chiefs' tackles hold up against Maxx Crosby?

Kahlil Benson turned in his worst performance of the year in Week 3, which led to Patrick Mahomes taking some big hits from the likes of Chop Robinson and Joshua Uche. Those players have nothing on Crosby, who has been a menace to Chiefs' linemen since 2019. The Chiefs have to provide more help outside, which could limit the game plan if anything goes wrong or if the tackles need more help than anticipated.

Can K.C. do anything to stop Brock Bowers?

The Raiders tight end might be the best skill position player between the two teams on Sunday, and the Chiefs have real issues defending tight ends. Even former Broncos castoff Greg Dulcich had some real opportunities a week ago. Expect Bowers to top 100 yards, no matter what the Chiefs throw at him.
