For the first time since 2022, the Kansas City Chiefs are watching the Super Bowl from home. The good news, however, is that as soon as Super Bowl 60 is in the books, the slate is wiped clean and the 2026 season will mark a whole new year. That means anyone can win and why not a team that has dominated in recent years?
The Chiefs are no strangers to making it to the Super Bowl and winning them. That could be their best pitch possible to pending free agent Breece Hall, who posted on social media during the game that his dream is to get to a Super Bowl.
"Hope I get to experience football on this stage. Everything on the line. I'll get there one day. I know it..."
Breece Hall just sent a clear message to Brett Veach and Chiefs
Well, Breece, I know a team that can help you get there and, as it turns out, they could desperately use your help as well.
As we know, the Chiefs did not have a good rushing attack during the 2025 season and even tried to trade for Hall ahead of the deadline. Unfortunately, the deal never panned out as the Chiefs and Jets couldn't come to terms on the draft picks they wanted to swap in a potential trade.
Hall could get franchise tagged by the Jets this offseason, which would tie him to New York, but if there's anyway for Veach to land him, it'd be a massive acquisition for Kansas City. Hall would immediately boost their run game and anything that can make life easier for Patrick Mahomes, especially with him coming off an injury, will be a-okay with Chiefs fans.
If Hall is making it known that he wants to end up on a Super Bowl stage, there isn't a team that gives him a better chance of doing so than the Chiefs. Sure, they had a down year in 2025, but this is a team that dominated the league for the previous half decade. They're going to bounce back and Hall can help them do just that.
