Congratulations, if you're reading this, you are reading my 100th and final scouting report for the 2026 NFL Draft. I'd be lying if I said this wasn't a massive burden to carry this draft season, but I am such a better analyst and writer because of this project. Like Frodo carrying the ring to Mount Doom, the burden only got heavier the closer and closer I got to the end. But now, I am ready to cast the ring into the fire and end it all for good. I'm not really sure where Ephesians Prysock comes into all of this. Maybe he's my Samwise Gamgee? The man who has been with me the whole time? Not sure—anyways, here's a scouting report.Â
Ephesians Prysock was my final choice for some very obvious reasons, the first being the Chiefs' need at corner. The goal of the project has always been to write about as many "future Chiefs" as possible. Prysock is also a high-level fit for the Chiefs based on his playing style and where he will be drafted. Since 2018, Brett Veach has drafted 11 corners (counting Chamarri Connor). Of those 11, nine have been on Day 3. Prysock projects as a 4th-5th round pick and has the tools the Chiefs love.

Ephesians Prysock's background

Height: 6-3

Prysock attended Bishop Alemany High School in Mission Hills, California, where he played both receiver and corner. Rated as a 4-star prospect coming out of high school, he committed to Arizona, similar to his teammate Tacario Davis. Both transferred to Washington to follow Jedd Fisch. He played two seasons for both Arizona and Washington, starting 42 games. He contributed on special teams with a blocked field goal. He logged 21 passes defended and two interceptions in his college career.
Ephesians Prysock's strengths
Physical Profile
Rare combination of size and speed; recorded a 97th percentile relative athletic score at the combine. Traits translate on the field too, as he was able to hold his own against Carnell Tate and Jeremiah Smith.
Zone Awareness
Strong route recognition, fluid in coverage, and better change of direction than expected for his size.
Recovery Speed and ball contesting
Above-average speed, able to get his head around and track the ball downfield. Gets his hand into the catch radius well.
Ephesians Prysock's weaknesses
Technique
Relies on physical traits too much. Gets stacked often and struggles in man coverage, which can lead to penalties. He was flagged six times in 2025 (four pass interference, two holding penalties).
Ball Skills
Only two career interceptions and averaged seven passes defensed in a season.
Tackling
Average run defender. Some missed tackles on tape; tends to rely too much on body weight rather than wrapping up and powering through the ball carrier.
Ephesians Prysock's fit with the Kansas City Chiefs
Prysock's length and explosiveness in the vertical plane make him a high-level fit. His physicality at the line of scrimmage, paired with his recovery ability, makes him a projected outside corner. He could compete with Kristian Fulton for an outside starter role. Prysock has his limitations, but he could certainly be depth and a potential starter with the Chiefs' track record at corner development. You'd like to see another pick paired with him to raise the floor of the secondary.
Prysock is an elite athlete with rare size, length, and speed, showing strong zone awareness and the movement skills to mirror better than most players his size. He uses his recovery speed and length effectively to close on throws and disrupt at the catch point, but his technique in man coverage needs refinement as he gets stacked too often and draws penalties. His ball skills and tackling remain inconsistent, limiting his overall impact despite his high-end physical tools.

Elite, long, & explosive w/ strong zone awareness & recovery speed to disrupt passes. 9.74 RAS. Needs cleaner man coverage technique as he gets stacked and grabby. Limited ball skills & inconsistent tackling.
