Bills’ Hallmark movie stunt is something Chiefs could never get away with

Could you IMAGINE what people would say if the Chiefs did this?

Last year, Kansas City Chiefs fans got to enjoy a Hallmark Channel Christmas movie about their favorite team. Because the Buffalo Bills have to try and copy them in every way (except when it comes to winning Super Bowls), they're also getting a Hallmark Christmas movie.

The Chiefs got a ton of crap for the Hallmark movie but unsurprisingly, no one has been hating on the Bills for also getting one (at least not to the level they hated on the Chiefs). Not even after the latest announcement of how Buffalo plans to celebrate the Bills-inspired Hallmark film.

According to Scripps News Group, a parade will be held in honor of the movie and will take place where part of the movie was filmed.

"The Buffalo Bills will host a parade in upstate New York to celebrate the premiere of the team's new Hallmark Channel Christmas movie, "Holiday Touchdown: A Bills Love Story."

The parade is scheduled to take place on Nov. 13 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m in East Aurora, where part of the movie was filmed.

The movie cast and players will "parade" from a VIP reception to the Aurora Theatre for the premiere via Pine and Main Streets."

Chiefs would be roasted for what Bills are doing with their Hallmark movie

Could you imagine if the Chiefs had done something like this for their Hallmark movie? If the Chiefs held yet another parade to celebrate a Christmas movie about their team, the haters on social media would be insufferable and would never let this go.

Then again, maybe this is a good thing for the Bills and for the city of Buffalo. While Chiefs fans have gotten to celebrate three Super Bowl wins over the last half decade and, therefore, held three parades in downtown Kansas City, Bills fans have celebrated zero Super Bowl wins and, therefore, zero parades have been held in downtown Buffalo. So hey, maybe they need this to avoid feeling left out.

For anyone who cares, Holiday Touchdown: A Bills Love Story is about two lifelong friends who are both diehard Bills fans. In true Hallmark fashion, they find love and probably bond over being Bills fans and learn the true meaning of Christmas or something like that.

Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story debuted last November and was about a family of diehard Chiefs fans trying to win Fan of the Year. There was also a magic winter cap involved and lots of the typical Hallmark stuff you'd come to expect if you've watched even one Hallmark movie.

Even with these competing franchises and Hallmark movies, one thing is for sure - The Bills' movie won't have Donna Kelce in it. Advantage: Chiefs.
