Bill Simmons suggests Tyreek Hill could find his way back to the AFC West

... but not to Kansas City.

It's been nearly three years since the Kansas City Chiefs traded Tyreek Hill in a move that many thought signaled a rebuild in K.C. The "rebuild" led to two straight Super Bowl wins for Kansas City and a third Super Bowl appearance.

Meanwhile, Hill and the Miami Dolphins failed to win a single playoff game since he was traded there. To make matters worse, the Dolphins failed to even make the playoffs this past season. That definitely ticked Hill off, as he said after Miami's season came to a close that he'd be peacing out in the offseason.

That sparked a ton of trade rumors surrounding Hill and while Chiefs fans wouldn't mind seeing him return to Kansas City to give the offense a much-needed spark, they're not the team to watch out for reportedly. According to Bill Simmons, who spoke with Hill and his camp at the Super Bowl, "Somebody that was with [Hill] was like, 'watch out for the Chargers' and walked off."

Chargers could be a landing spot for Tyreek Hill in 2025, suggests Bill Simmons.

Chiefs fans wouldn't be thrilled to see Hill end up with the Chargers but it's hard to argue about the fit. L.A. needs wide receivers and Hill would give them a great option to pair with rookie standout Ladd McConkey.

That being said, despite playing in all 17 games, Hill is coming off his first non-1,000-yard season since 2019 when he missed four games. He's turning 31 years old this offseason and clearly has a tendency to pop off to the media when things aren't going his way. Isn't this the kind of distraction that the Chiefs should want the Chargers to have to deal with?

It's also worth noting that Hill reportedly hasn't asked for a trade, or at least hadn't as of a month ago. Maybe he still ends up with the Dolphins when the season kicks off but Chiefs fans should prepare themselves for a potential 'Tyreek Hill to AFC West' trade.
