Sure, it’s May 10, but we have schedule leaks ahead of the official announcement on Thursday, May 11 and the defending Super Bowl champions Chiefs will face the Bengals in Week 17 in Kansas City in a rematch of the AFC Championship game last year.

The Chiefs opened -3.5 (-105) for the December showdown against the Bengals, indicating that these two are closely rated but KC gets the nod on its home field.

Of course, there’s plenty of history between the two teams as the Chiefs rallied to beat the Bengals to advance to the Super Bowl last season in dramatic fashion while also snapping a three game losing streak to Cincy over the past two seasons. Kansas City closed a two point favorite in that game with Patrick Mahomes dealing with an ankle sprain.
