Chiefs rumors: Donna Kelce says Eagles will visit Kansas City in Week 2
By Matt Conner
Maybe Donna Kelce is in a position to know something. If so, she says the Chiefs and Eagles will be playing one another in Week 2.
At this point, Donna Kelce holds all of our hearts in the palm of her hand, so if she says something, we’re definitely listening, ready to extend her plenty of credibility. And while it’s unorthodox for an NFL player’s mother to have knowledge of the NFL schedule before its release, it should also be clear that Donna Kelce is no ordinary NFL mom
A new rumor that emerged on Tuesday has to do with the NFL’s regular-season schedule reveal, which is set for Thursday, May 11. On that day, we’ll find out the full slate of games for the Chiefs and the path they’ll take week to week. But for now, the mother of Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce says her songs will face off again in Week 2 of the coming year.
If you still wondering what we’re talking about, Donna Kelce took to Facebook to share something she apparently knows or has reason to think she knows about the NFL schedule. Then her son retweeted it recognizing his mother as a prime NFL source.
The Chiefs and Eagles were the last game played in the 2022 season as the participants in Super Bowl LVII. With 93 points scored between the teams and a final deficit of only three points, it was one of the most exciting championship games in years. It’s also loaded with star power which provides plenty of reasons why the league will want to feature this method the right way.
The Chiefs are expected to open the season in Week 1 on a Thursday night, so this could mean the Chiefs have an extra few days to prepare for Philly’s visit in Week 2. However, nothing is official just yet, at least not until the league unveils the whole schedule in two days.
