The Kansas City Chiefs have reportedly checked in via Zoom on Georgia running back Kenny McIntosh before the 2023 NFL Draft.

If the Kansas City Chiefs are interested in shopping for a nice tandem partner for lead back Isiah Pacheco, they could do worse than taking a chance on Georgia running back Kenny McIntosh. Perhaps that’s what they are thinking with the news that they recently spent some time in an interview with him before the draft.

Justin Melo of the Draft Network has word that McIntosh has drawn interest from a number of teams, including the Chiefs.

McIntosh was forced to wait his turn with the Bulldogs until he was a senior but he responded well with a rushing-leading total of 829 on 149 carries and 10 touchdowns. He also caught 43 passes for 505 yards and another 2 scores in the passing game.

While there are a lot of backs who profile well in this area for the Chiefs and other teams who could use a pass-catching back, McIntosh can boast that he never had a single dropped pass in his collegiate career. He also comes with a bit of experience on kickoff returns and could find a home there if pressed into action.

While also taking a top 30 visit with the Miami Dolphins, McIntosh has also spoken with the Dallas Cowboys, Seattle Seahawks, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Green Bay Packers, Jacksonville Jaguars, New Orleans Saints and more.
