The Chiefs have been linked to mostly wide receivers and offensive linemen in mock drafts. Who could be flying under the radar? We discuss some sleepers.

In the heart of mock draft season, there is beginning to be a trend in who the NFL world expects the Kansas City Chiefs to take. Most often, we see players like Darnell Wright from Tennessee or Quentin Johnston out of TCU. Today, we are looking at the players that are real possibilities that no one is talking about.

The Chiefs are in a place to take the best player available at every pick. Due to this, the possibilities are wide open for them in the first round and on. Today, let’s take a look at some potential sleepers that the Chiefs could take in the first round, away from the usual names you hear projected to go their way.

Keion White, EDGE, Georgia Tech

The Chiefs could be done adding EDGE players this offseason. After drafting George Karlaftis last year and then signing Charles Omenihu this off-season, one could argue that they are set. But we think the Chiefs could never have too many talented defensive linemen, and one option that is flying under the radar right now is Keion White.

The biggest knock on Keion White is that he is a bit of a project. While he possesses some of the best athleticism that the draft has to offer, he is not refined. His technique could use some work and he needs some time to learn the position. Hence, Kansas City being a perfect landing spot. White could develop under Omenihu and Karlaftis and be a very talented rotational piece on third down. White has the athleticism and length to one day be a star in the National Football League.
