Even Russell Wilson’s golf cart commits turnovers

Russell Wilson’s golf cart flipped over when he was recently on the links at, get this, a place called Arrowhead Golf Course.

Sometimes the joke just writes itself.

It begins with the fact that Denver Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson wanted to enjoy a round of golf as part of his offseason, but he chose to do so at Arrowhead Golf Course. You would think he would make better decisions at this point, especially without his caddie Nathaniel Hackett to blame, but we can only assume he thought playing a different sport might create a better outcome.

Sometime over the weekend, Wilson took to the links at Arrowhead, and in the course of making his way from hole to hole, he flipped his cart over. That’s what led to this amazing photo that we’ve framed and matted already.

I have to admit that for the longest time, I didn’t have any jokes to add. It was an obviously hilarious situation (especially knowing no one was hurt, because we’re not classless around here), but beyond that, we weren’t sure what commentary to offer up. It felt like a sign that we’d already said so many things about Wilson and, even more, the Broncos over the years that it’s hard to come up with anything more.

Maybe you’ve got some good jokes. Maybe not. It doesn’t matter. We’re just here to post a photo of an overturned Russ Wilson in the offseason and offer up the fact that it’s pretty much the way he’s looked since he arrived in the AFC West.
