Kansas City is going to be hosting much, much more than just the 2023 NFL Draft festivities if Travis Kelce has anything to say about it.

There was already going to be plenty of fun and festivities for everyone in late April in Kansas City, but you can always count on Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce to crank things up to 11. This time, there are literally amps involved as Kelce has announced his own music festival—the first ever Kelce Jam—which will happen on Friday of the 2023 NFL Draft.

While general manager Brett Veach will be making important selections in the second and third rounds of this year’s first-year player draft, Kelce Jam will make sure fans have plenty of exciting musical guests to take in while waiting for the information to come out about the team’s newest members.

“I wanted to create something that was Kansas City’s own and for everyone to come out and have a really good time,” said Kelce. “This is as much a celebration of Chiefs fans as anything else. With the draft coming up, everyone is excited to see who our new additions are, so the timing is perfect!”

The event will be held at the Azura Amphitheater and will feature Machine Gun Kelly as the headlining act. Loud Luxury, Rick Ross, and Tech N9ne will also take part in the one-day event. Food partners include Q39 and Joe’s BBQ as well.

“I like to think of Kelce Jam as a festival built for the people of KC and Chiefs Kingdom,” said Kelce. “It was really important for me to highlight our culture with the city’s best restaurants like Q39 & Joe’s BBQ. Of course, we needed KC’s very own Tech N9ne! Kelce Jam is putting KC on the map like never before; it’s often overlooked and we are changing that!”

It’s been a very busy offseason for Kelce after winning another Super Bowl and hosting Saturday Night Live among other things. All of those events, he said, have prepared him to take things a step further with Kelce Jam.

“[SNL] was such an amazing experience and the perfect warm-up for Kelce Jam! It’s been a fun roller coaster these past two months since our Super Bowl victory. It’s been electric and Kelce Jam is only adding to that!”

Tickets go on pre-sale for Kelce Jam on Friday, with prices starting at $49.99, but fans can register today by going to KelceJam.com.
