Arrowhead Addict contributor Stacy D. Smith joins the show to discuss some smaller free agents that make sense for the Chiefs, draft hopes, and some concerns about the team’s coaching choices.

It’s been quite some time since the Kansas City Chiefs have made any real moves. After striking early with free agent signings like defensive end Charles Omenihu and offensive tackle Jawaan Taylor, the Chiefs have largely stayed silent on the transaction wire, with only a few minor signings and re-signings to report—including none in the last several days.

That’s not to say that deals aren’t out there to be made. The Chiefs are still linked to DeAndre Hopkins and Odell Beckham Jr. but beyond that there are also some lower-tier additions that could be made to strengthen the team before the draft. But is the team done shopping at this point? It’s hard to say.

On the latest episode of the Arrowhead Addict podcast, we decided to bring in Stacy D. Smith, a contributor at AA and arts educator (among many other creative ventures) to talk about the Chiefs at this stage of the offseason. Joined by hosts Matt Conner and Sterling Holmes, the group also looks at pre-draft crushes, the latest Chiefs news, and whether or not the Chiefs have an issue with some positional coaching hires.
