Again, for some of these teams, the draft is going off without a hitch. That is no exception for the Indianapolis Colts at pick four. While many have questioned the true ability of Ohio State quarterbacks, Stroud is at a different level of talent. While he certainly had some of the best receivers in college football, anyone that has watched him play knows that he has the ability to throw dimes. With a sneaky strong arm, he is capable of making some tight-window throws, which is crucial at the NFL level. One day, we may look back on this draft and wonder why Stroud was not the first quarterback selected.

In Seattle’s 3-4, Jalen Carter would make for the final missing piece of the front 3. With the additions of Dre’Mont Jones and Jarran Reed, they only need an anchor for the middle of the line. Carter fits that mold perfectly. With tremendous control over his massive frame, Carter has the potential to be one of the best players to come out of this class. Last season, the Seahawks had some struggles in the front seven. With the addition of Jalen Carter, they would turn that weakness into a top-tier unit in the NFC.

Let’s be real for a minute. The Titans cannot seriously expect Ryan Tannehill to still be the guy, can they? If so, then they are perpetually okay with mediocrity. I expect that they will want to get his eventual replacement on the roster as soon as possible. In this case, they move up to select Will Levis before the Raiders and Falcons select, just in case they were also looking for their quarterback of the future. While it’s a bold move, Levis has incredible arm talent that he didn’t get to showcase enough due to poor offensive line play at Kentucky. It’s a gamble, but it’s one of the best moves that they could make to create success in the future.

The Las Vegas Raiders have had a bad drafting history over the last decade. This time, they’ve got to get it right. With the addition of Jimmy Garoppolo, they are likely out of the “we need a quarterback of the future now” group. They had some serious defensive woes last season, especially in their pass rush. Now they get their answer to that problem. Tyree Wilson will carve out a role defensively immediately and will be the eventual replacement for Chandler Jones, whenever the Raiders are ready to bite the bullet on his enormous contract. With the addition of Tyree Wilson, the Raiders will have two extremely powerful edge rushers who could present a problem for opposing offenses. Wilson would be in a role where he could both get playing time and mentoring.
