Last year around this time, the Kansas City Chiefs waltzed into NFL Draft weekend with an abundance of questions and 12 draft selections—the most they’d had in years. Many of those questions were centered on a wide receiver position that had lost Tyreek Hill in a deal with the Miami Dolphins, and yet the abundance of those picks stemmed from that very trade.

As the Chiefs started making picks, the pressure was on to use that specific class to fill holes, generate depth, and lay the foundation for the next few years as the franchise transitioned into Patrick Mahomes’ prime seasons at quarterback. What no one saw coming was a loaded draft class—using ultimately 10 of those picks—that would contribute immediately and help deliver a second Super Bowl win in four seasons.

This year, the Chiefs have double-digit picks again, mostly in the lower rounds. That’s okay since last year the third day of the draft delivered corners like Joshua Williams and Jaylen Watson along with running back Isiah Pacheco. The Chiefs would have had four picks in the top 100 but they traded a compensatory third-round pick in exchange for wide receiver Kadarius Toney.

As it stands, here are the 10 picks scheduled to be made by the Chiefs.
