The 2023 NFL Draft order is officially set but some potential Bears trade(s) could really shake things up.

As expected, the one downside of winning another Super Bowl for the Kansas City Chiefs is that they will be forced to select last in every round of the 2023 NFL Draft. We’re pretty sure that general manager Brett Veach is perfectly fine with that since he’s been able to enjoy such solid success in the draft despite the long wait to make any selections in the past.

Coming in as Super Bowl champs, the Chiefs should be at No. 32 overall but they are going to pick one selection higher with the tampering charges against the Miami Dolphins. The Fins got into some serious issues all described here, but the primary concern here is that they lost a first-round pick which means the Chiefs are up at No. 31 instead.

Compensatory picks have not yet been made official, so for now, the Chiefs have 9 available to them with a few more projected potentially on the way. If so, it will be the second straight season they have 12 total entering the draft. Remember the draft this year will be held in Kansas City.
