There are several babies on the way for Kansas City Chiefs players in the midst of Super Bowl LVII.

On a night when there’s going to be a lot of celebrating going on, some members of the Kansas City Chiefs have plenty more reasons to raise a glass with the news that more than one baby is on the way in Chiefs Kingdom during the festivities for Super Bowl LVII.

Earlier today, Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman tweeted that his girlfriend was going into labor, making it a big day for the veteran even if he can’t make it on the field.

Remember that Hardman was already ruled out for the game after re-aggravating a groin/pelvis injury during the win in the conference championship round over the Cincinnati Bengals.

As if it wasn’t enough to light a cigar for the exciting new addition to the Hardman family, news came across the wire that offensive lineman Nick Allegretti and his wife Christina welcomed twins into the world early on the morning of Super Bowl Sunday. Incredible!

Chiefs Kingdom has grown by leaps and bounds with the success of the team in recent years, but apparently, there’s organic growth happening as well. Congratulations to all of the new parents and new additions and we hope everything goes well for Mecole Hardman and his partner!
