Which players on the KC Chiefs offense need to step and play versus the Eagles if they want to win Super Bowl LVII on Sunday?

With Super Bowl Sunday right around the corner, the Kansas City Chiefs are set to take on the Philadelphia Eagles in their quest for a third Lombardi Trophy in franchise history. The entire team, of course, is under pressure to win but which players, in particular, are under the most pressure?

Let’s review several players on the offensive side of the ball who need to step up and play well on Sunday evening if the team wishes to win their second Super Bowl Trophy in three years:

1. Patrick Mahomes, Quarterback

It may be odd to include the MVP on this list but Patrick Mahomes’ performance will have the greatest effect on whether the Chiefs will win this game or not. If he plays his very best, then Kansas City will definitely win this game. If he plays a bad game, Kansas City will get blown out. If he plays somewhere in the middle, the Chiefs will likely lose. One issue with Mahomes is that his overall Super Bowl performances have been lackluster. He has an underwhelming passer rating of 64.2 in his two career Super Bowl games. That cannot be the case against the Eagles or the Chiefs will be run off the field.
