Super Bowl 57 is here, and if you haven’t already placed a few bets, now is the time to do so.

One of the most popular betting options is wagering on which player will be the first to score a touchdown. This bet can be exciting to cheer for and you (hopefully) won’t have to wait long to find out if you won.

I have three names that you should target for this bet, so let’s dive into them.

Super Bowl 57 odds to score first touchdown

Super Bowl 57 first touchdown picks

  • Travis Kelce +700
  • Jerick McKinnon +1200
  • Marquez Valdes-Scantling +1800

Travis Kelce +700

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce is a no-brainer to bet on to score first. In fact, he is the most bet on player to score the first touchdown at BetMGM.

It makes sense why. He already has three touchdowns in the postseason, and with the injury questions at wideout for the Chiefs, you can all but guarantee that Patrick Mahomes will look for him early and often.

It’s a popular bet for good reason.

Jerick McKinnon +1200

Do people already forget that Jerick McKinnon was a touchdown machine down the final stretch of the regular season? He scored in six-straight games to close out the season, and he had more than one touchdown in three of those six games.

He didn’t get much work against the Bengals, which is likely why he’s available at +1200, but that doesn’t mean he’s a bad bet. The Chiefs will get him involved in the passing game, and he could be a good look to open up the scoring at +1200.

Marquez Valdes-Scantling +1800

With injuries to several wide receivers, it’s Marquez Valdes-Scantling who is the only reliably healthy player out wide. He’s also entering the game hot, coming off his best performance of the season against the Bengals where he hauled in six receptions for 116 yards and a touchdown.

He has no scored in both of the Chiefs’ playoff games, and him being listed at +1800 despite him likely being the Chiefs top target at wideout is disrespectful.

This is my favorite bet on the board to find the end zone first.
