If you come at the Kingdom, you’d best not miss — and the Cincinnati Bengals whiffed big time in the AFC Championship Game.

After spending all week talking trash and celebrating before they had won, the Bengals failed to back it up on Sunday in Arrowhead.

That’s right, it’s still called Arrowhead Stadium and not a soul in Cincinnati will soon forget that.

Among the many, many things that Bengals players talked trash about this week, the one that stuck the most was the renaming of Arrowhead Stadium. With Joe Burrow boasting a 3-0 record against Patrick Mahomes, including a win last year in the AFC title game, Mike Hilton proclaimed after last week’s win over Buffalo that the team was headed to Burrowhead.

Yeah, about that.

Travis Kelce comments on Cincinnati Mayor trash talk after AFC title game

Mahomes led a game-winning drive in the final minute of the game that resulted in a Harrison Butker field goal that carried Kansas City back to the Super Bowl. But it was Travis Kelce who beat the Bengals into submission after the game.

Kelce didn’t wait much longer than a few minutes after the game was over to get the final word on a week’s worth of trash talk.

“Burrowhead my ass,” Kelce yelled into the mic as Tracy Wolfson was interviewing Mahomes after the win.

Inject that into the veins of every Chiefs fans in the world. There’s catharsis and then there’s Kelce verbally Jordan shrugging the Bengals back to Cincinnati.

Kelce wasn’t done after interrupting Mahomes and Wolfson. During the Lamar Hunt Trophy ceremony, Kelce invoked Attitude Era The Rock and sent a message to the mayor of Cincinnati.

”Know your role and shut your mouth, you Jabroni,” Kelce said.

It’s unlikely that the Mayor of Cincinnati or the city recovers from this. No amount of Skyline Chili will make this feel better.

Also, Travis Kelce is the new Mayor of Cincinnati.
