Jerick McKinnon, RB

If this one makes you do a double-take, we wouldn’t be surprised.

Jerick McKinnon has become known as a sort of postseason hero. He’s also a player who has spent the last several seasons with either the San Francisco 49ers or the Chiefs. In other words, how in the world could McKinnon have never played in a Super Bowl before?

Now, we realize we’ve already changed our metrics here for inclusion because Melvin Gordon isn’t likely to play in the Super Bowl if the Chiefs make it, but we wanted to add McKinnon here because he’s never played in a championship ever and the man can turn it on in the playoffs. He deserves this opportunity.

If you’re still shaking your head, just remember that last year, McKinnon was red hot but Kansas City was stopped by the Bengals. Before that, McKinnon was oft-injured while with the Niners, which made him a disappointing signing on a team that made Super Bowl LIV.  That means he watched both the Chiefs and Niners while recovering from season-ending knee surgery.
