Isiah Pacheco has made a habit of coming to Pegah’s in Kansas City more than once and his affection for their food is helping business in a big way.

There’s always something heartening about seeing Kansas City Chiefs players, coaches, and figures interact in the surrounding community. All too often, it seems such persons might not realize just how much their presence means to a particular fan or business or non-profit, but Isiah Pacheco has given another example of how something simple as a show of support can help sustain a business.

Pegah’s is a local diner with three locations that’s remained open for more than three decades, and they’ve found a new fan in Pacheco. The first-year running back for the Chiefs has frequented the establishment more than once and a recent Facebook post has been shared dozens of times showing Pacheco at the restaurant.

According to a FOX4 story, the restaurant has seen a 20 percent boost in business in the aftermath.

These have been a difficult few years for most restaurants in the wake of consumer changes amidst a global pandemic. We love seeing Pacheco as a man of the people and that a small business can receive support because of it.

Nicki Conrad was a Chiefs fan who was minding her own business while watching the team’s Divisional Round win over the Jags at Arrowhead when others began to take photos of her eating a baked potato. Now after she’s become a part of Chiefs fan-do and responded herself on social media, Hy-Vee has her back and we’re here for it. A potato is a potato.

Even though the Chiefs are now reportedly one-point favorites via one betting outlet, the truth is that home teams get three points in their favor so the Bengals are still expected to win.

Raiders’ Maxx Crosby sends stern message to Lil Jon after Chiefs switcheroo (MSN)

Maxx Crosby has a lot of anger stored up and we can’t blame him. He plays for the Raiders. Apparently he’s decided to vent some of those pent-up emotions on rapper Lil Jon, who was/is a documented Raiders fan, for performing for the Chiefs-Jags game at halftime. All we can say is we’d be happy to welcome Crosby over here, too.
