3 to 1

That is the turnover ratio for the last three games between the Chiefs and Bengals. We’ll let you guess which team has three and which has only one.

Herein lies a real challenge for the Chiefs, who have struggled with this all season long. The Chiefs might have won 14 games, but their turnover differential was -3 on the year and only 9 teams in the entire NFL were worse than that on the season. By comparison, the other three teams remaining in the postseason posted the following turnover differential on the year:

  • Bengals, +6
  • 49ers, +13
  • Eagles, +8

Can the Chiefs put all of that behind them and force Joe Burrow into a bad throw or two? The odds are against them based on the year’s experience, but a young secondary is coming into its own and that could be a nice development for K.C.
