The Chiefs enter the game as the biggest favorites of the weekend, favored by nine points over Jacksonville. If you want to check out the odds, betting trends, and pick for the game, check out our betting preview here.

In this article, I’m going to focus on player props. Whether you want to stay away from betting on the spread, or if you want some extra action, I’m going to break down my favorite prop bets to place for this weekend’s big game.

Let’s jump into them.

Best prop bets for Jaguars vs. Chiefs

  • Travis Kelce OVER 6.5 receptions
  • Marquez Valdes-Scantling OVER 31.5 receiving yards
  • Christian Kirk UNDER 5.5 receptions

Travis Kelce OVER 6.5 receptions

There’s no doubt that Travis Kelce is Patrick Mahomes’ favorite target. He has seen at least seven targets in five straight games, and he’s averaging 6.5 receptions per game this season.

In a do-or-die game for the Chiefs, I expect they’ll rely on their top pass-catcher even more than they were in the regular season. History would agree with that statement, considering he’s averaging 7.06 receptions per game in the postseason throughout his career.

Marquez Valdes-Scantling OVER 31.5 receiving yards

The great thing about betting on Marquez Valdes-Scantling to go over his receiving total, is that he may only need one or two catches to go over. He serves as the Chiefs’ deep threat in the passing game, and he’s averaging 16.4 yards per reception this season. if he sticks with his average, he would technically only need two receptions to go over 31.5 receiving yards.

He racked up 60 yards on three receptions in the Chiefs Week 10 game against the Jaguars.

Christian Kirk UNDER 5.5 receptions

Christian Kirk is averaging 4.9 receptions per game this season, so he’d need an above average performance to go over receptions total in this Divisional Round game.

He has gone under this total in two of his last four games. The Jaguars have plenty of receiving options, so let’s hope Trevor Lawrence looks elsewhere on Saturday afternoon.
