New York Giants @ Minnesota Vikings (Fox) Sunday, 3:30 pm

This is a rematch of one of the wildest games of the year, back in Week 15, in which the Vikings held on to beat the Giants on a last-second field goal. No matter how you look at this one, you must acknowledge a couple of things: The Giants have no chance at winning a Super Bowl with Daniel Jones at quarterback and the Vikings have no business being the No. 3 seed in the NFC. With that in mind, I expect this one to be an intriguing game throughout.

The Vikings have been on the wrong end of some terrible games. The Giants have won games when it has mattered. The Vikings will target Justin Jefferson a ton and the Giants will use Saquon Barkley as much as possible. Both of these teams have something to prove, but only one will come away with the victory and a chance to play for the NFC Championship.

The Bottom Line

It is impossible for me to trust either of these teams. On one hand, the Vikings have more overall talent. On the other, the Giants might completely destroy Kirk Cousins when they blitz. If there was ever a “prove it” game for a pair of quarterbacks, this is it. Unfortunately for the Vikings, I think that the Giants eke out a victory in a weird one due to Minnesota’s inability to cover receivers when it matters most.

Prediction: Giants 28, Vikings 24
