The National Football League’s Players Association made their first-ever All-Pro list and four Chiefs players made the cut.

The honors keep rolling in for the Kansas City Chiefs this offseason, and the latest come in the form of the players awarded a spot on the first-ever All-Pro team as voted upon by the National Football League’s Players Association.

At this point, there are more than a few iterations of an NFL All-Pro team, but not many involve the votes of peers, which makes this particular team meaningful.

Patrick Mahomes was the lead quarterback in terms of player voting and he leads four total Chiefs in being named on the list. Mahomes is the frontrunner for league MVP so it’s not a surprise to see him here—and that’s true of all the others that made the cut.

Tight end Travis Kelce was celebrated here along with defensive tackle Chris Jones and punter Tommy Townsend. All four players were also placed on this year’s Pro Bowl rosters and should be mentioned on the official All-Pro teams put out annually by the Associated Press.

Frank Mason wants to try out for Chiefs (Chiefs Wire)

We love random ideas like this, and it’s not as if other former basketball players haven’t made the same transition, right? Demetrius Harris was a baller. So was Ross Travis. Of course, Mason’s smallish point guard frame won’t enable him to suit up at tight end, but what if there’s a defensive back in the making?

Chiefs-Eagles among “dream” Super Bowl matchups (NFL.com)

The folks over at the league’s official website made up their “dream” matchups for the biggest game of the year and a showdown between Andy Reid’s current team and his former team comes in at No. 2. It doesn’t hurt, of course, that the Eagles were so dominant all season, so it’s not as if Philly is there just for Reid’s ties. Honestly, we’re not sure why this isn’t No. 1
