We’re not exactly sure what we just saw, but we want more of whatever the Kansas City Chiefs’ spinning huddle is called.
We’re pretty sure there’s someone, somewhere in Chiefs Kingdom with his arms crossed right now. Somehow he’s upset despite the fact that Kansas City is up 24-3 at halftime on the road against a division rival, and it’s all because the Chiefs got “too cute” before halftime with a spinning huddle of some kind that is unlike anything we’ve ever seen.
We’re also pretty sure that same guy is yelling at kids to stay off his lawn during halftime.
For the rest of us, however, the Chiefs’ Vitamix huddle or whatever you want to call it—Ring around the Rosie? Some weird Lord of the Flies tradition?—was the cherry on top of a perfect first half of football, one in which everything went right for the Chiefs in every aspect.
The only downside to that huddle usage in that moment is that the resulting play, a nice touchdown for Kadarius Toney, was called back due to a penalty. Of course, the Chiefs just came right back with another touchdown for Toney on the next play (that’s seriously how magical this game is going for the Chiefs).
In case you somehow missed it, here’s the huddle in question:

And of course, everyone responded with equal parts glee and confusion.

that touchdown not counting is so sad because the chiefs doing a merry-go-round huddle into a trick play for a touchdown is one of the coolest things to ever happen on the football field

That Chiefs TD that didn't count with the dancing huddle was the dumbest best thing ever.

One thing we do know is that the Raiders are likely scared of what might come next.

Then again, older Raiders fans have another viewpoint entirely.
I can only imagine what the Raiders Defense from the 70s and 80s would have done to the Chiefs Offense if they saw them dancing in a circle to break the huddle. pic.twitter.com/IB60nrfWrm

Of course his arms are crossed.
