Resolutions: No more bulletin board material and help fix the coverage in the middle of the field.

First off, let’s hope that Justin Reid has learned his lesson about running his mouth before a game and providing the other team with bulletin board material. For those that missed it, before KC’s game with the Cincinnati Bengals Reid struggled to remember the name of Cincinnati tight end Hayden Hurst and ended up giving a quote that sounded like he was going to lock down star receiver Tee Higgins. The Chiefs went on to lose that game and then Reid still tweeted the following:

I don’t care if he did feel like he played a good game, what are you doing tweeting that after making a dumb comment AND losing the game? The other problem I have is that one of KC’s biggest problem areas on defense has been covering the middle of the field. Reid hasn’t been the biggest issue there, but as a player who is being paid to be a leader out there, he has to help get the coverage over the middle of the field cleaned up. That’s why I’ve got two resolutions for Reid for 2023.

Speaking of coverage over the middle of the field, that’s a perfect segue to number eight on this list.
