The Kansas City Chiefs are a popular pick to steamroll the Houston Texans, even as the road team, by NFL experts in this week’s picks and predictions.

If you’re a Kansas City Chiefs fan, this might just be the sort of week you’re wanting to see. The Chiefs are visiting the Houston Texans, and despite being favored by 14, nearly every single expert is still backing the Chiefs on the road at NRG Stadium.

The latest round of NFL expert picks and predictions are in and it’s a tidal wave of support for K.C. with some predicting a final point differential that would be embarrassing for the home team if they weren’t already mired in misery.

Here at FanSided, our NFL insider Matt Verderame has turned in his final picks for the week and says it should be a “five-alarm fire” if the Chiefs somehow end up allowing this game to be close. He predicts a 17-point victory in the end.

At ESPN, the Chiefs are favored to win by 14 and every expert has the Chiefs going on to win by that much. In fact, Eric Moody of ESPN has the Chiefs by 27 points at game’s end—quite a victory in the wake of recent games for K.C. At the NFL’s official site, Gregg Rosenthal is ready to back the Chiefs as well against the spread with a predicted 18-point deficit for the visitors.

Rosenthal noted that he likes backing Mahomes in a game like this and Pete Prisco of CBS Sports agrees, “Blowout as Patrick Mahomes plays well.” He has the Chiefs winning by 16. The experts at Pro Football Talk follow suit with further predictions of one-sided blowouts.

Over at the Ringer, the Chiefs are favored to win against the spread and Sheil Kapadia says not to be fooled by the spunk displayed last week by Houston against the Dallas Cowboys in a close game.

The Chiefs and Texans kick off at 12:00 p.m. C.T.
