Chiefs vs. Bengals: Joe Thuney, Kadarius Toney inactive
By Matt Conner
Let’s look at the list of inactive players for both the Kansas City Chiefs and Cincinnati Bengals for Week 13.
Given how close the last couple of games have turned out between the Kansas City Chiefs and Cincinnati Bengals, it’s quite possible that the results of their third matchup in the last calendar year—scheduled for Sunday afternoon at Paul Brown Stadium for Week 13—could come down to a mixture of talented players on the edge of being able to play (or not).
Both the Chiefs and Bengals are hoping to be at full strength, or at least as close as they can when suiting up to face one another on Sunday, but unfortunately, there are a lot of question marks on both sides.
For the Bengals, the potential return of Ja’Marr Chase after weeks away has been the dominant story of the week given how productive the wide receiver has been in the past against K.C. However, he’s not the only one who could play or not on Sunday as both running back Joe Mixon and Logan Wilson are listed as questionable.
The same could be said for the Chiefs, who already know that wideout Kadarius Toney will be sitting out another game with a hamstring injury. The Chiefs could also be down a couple of key players in the trenches depending on how left guard Joe Thuney and pass rusher Frank Clark are feeling by game time.
Here’s a complete list of Chiefs players who are inactive in Week 13:
- Kadarius Toney, WR
