How did the rookies on the Kansas City Chiefs play in the 26-10 victory over the Los Angeles Rams?

The Kansas City Chiefs improved to 9-2 after their 26-10 win over the defending Super Bowl champion Los Angeles Rams. Which rookies saw playing time against Los Angeles and how did those players perform?

The Chiefs selected ten players in this 2022 NFL Draft, with nine of them making the final roster after training camp, and eight have seen playing time on offense or defense so far this season. Despite making the final roster, Darian Kinnard has only dressed for one game this season, in which he only saw six snaps on special teams, and Nazeeh Johnson is on the practice squad but has dressed in several games this season, playing only special teams snaps. Jaylen Watson and Leo Chenal will also be excluded due to a lack of snaps on defense in Week 12.

Here are the snap counts for every rookie in Week 12:

  • Joshua Williams, CB: 68 total snaps (54 defensive and 14 special teams)
  • Trent McDuffie, CB: 50 total snaps (54 defensive and 5 special teams)
  • Bryan Cook, S: 50 total snaps (47 defensive and 3 special teams)
  • Isiah Pacheco, RB: 42 total snaps (39 offensive and 3 special teams)
  • George Karlaftis, EDGE: 39 total snaps (37 defensive and 2 special teams)
  • Skyy Moore, WR: 36 total snaps (35 offensive and 1 special team)
  • Leo Chenal, LB: 18 special teams snaps
  • Jaylen Watson, CB: 5 defensive snaps
