Both Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford and Chiefs wide receiver Kadarius Toney are among the players who are inactive on Sunday afternoon.
The Kansas City Chiefs are going to be without a bright young talent at wide receiver and the visiting Los Angeles Rams are going to go without their starting quarterback as both teams clash on Sunday afternoon. That means both Kadarius Toney and Matthew Stafford will anchor the lists of inactive players that will emerge for both teams facing off at Arrowhead Stadium.
The Chiefs are sad to see a few players hurting in Week 12, but they also have to be thankful that they are not suffering as much as the Rams these days. The defending Super Bowl champs have been a shell of their competitive selves this season thanks to key injuries, inconsistent play, offseason losses, and other complications.
As for the Chiefs, they will be down Toney and other players are listed as questionable, including offensive lineman Joe Thuney, cornerback Chris Lammons, and safety Juan Thornhill. The former has been dealing with an ankle injury while Thornhill was forced to leave the team’s last win in Week 11 with a calf injury. As for Lammons, he’s been in the team’s concussion protocol for the last week as well.
As for the Rams they had several other players sit out of practice this week due to injuries. Center Brian Allen and offensive tackle Ty Nsekhe were missing in the trenches on the offensive side and defensive end A’Shawn Robinson. We will see if those players all land on the inactive list or who ends up healing up enough to play in Week 12.
