Here’s all the information you need to catch the Kansas City Chiefs and the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 11.

When the Kansas City Chiefs barely got past the Los Angeles Chargers the first time around in the 2022 campaign, a narrow three-point victory back in Week 2, few would have predicted that the next matchup between the AFC West rivals would matter so little in a race for the division title.

Ever since the Chiefs rattled Justin Herbert and the Chargers back in Week 2, the Bolts haven’t looked anything like the title contenders they were projected to be. Injuries have played their part, but that’s the same ol’ song and dance at this point for a team that can’t seem to stay healthy. Beyond that, there are coaching concerns, depth issues, and roster holes that have them on the outside looking in at the current AFC playoff picture.

Now, there’s a lot of football left and anything is possible, of course, and the Chargers aren’t that far behind at 5-4—they have a winning record, after all. But the Chiefs could seriously put away the AFC West for all intents and purposes on Sunday, a reality that should not sit well with anyone looking up at K.C. in the West given the youth movement underway at Arrowhead this season.

Can the Bolts even the series? Can they climb back into playoff contention? Will the Chiefs finish off their rivals? It’s all part of the intrigue of Week 11.

Chiefs vs. Chargers Predictions

So much of what to expect on Sunday night depends on what to expect from the injury reports for each team. Mike Williams has a high-ankle sprain that’s supposed to keep him out until Week 12 (at least), but Keenan Allen has also missed games with a hamstring and no offense is keeping up with the Chiefs without at least one of those $20 million receivers on the field. Then again, the Chiefs have their own concerns with multiple players in the team’s concussion protocol this week—including Juju Smith-Schuster—and some players hurt out at tackle in Andrew Wylie and Lucas Niang.

What is the weather for Chiefs vs. Chargers?

The weather for Sunday night at SoFi Stadium shouldn’t matter because the indoor/outdoor potential here makes sure that the elements will never be a problem.

Chiefs vs. Chargers history

The Chiefs and Chargers have a lot of history, obviously, as AFC West rivals, but K.C. leads the all-time series with a record of 66-58-1. The Chargers were ahead for the longest time in the series, but Andy Reid’s run of success has turned the tables in the all-time standings with a record of 14-3 since 2014.
