Jaguars vs. KC Chiefs: Mecole Hardman among inactives for Week 10
By Matt Conner
Let’s look at the lists of inactive players for both the Kansas City Chiefs and the Jacksonville Jaguars heading into their Week 10 primetime game.
When it comes to inactive players for the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 10, the team has already made it known that they will sit wide receiver Mecole Hardman for the upcoming game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
The Jags are set to visit the Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday afternoon in a contest that many might be overlooking. The Chiefs are fresh off of a close win over the Tennessee Titans and the Los Angeles Chargers, Los Angeles Rams, and Cincinnati Bengals are all looming in the next few weeks. Given the Jags’ losing record and perennial position in the basement of the AFC South, this fits the definition of a trap game.
The good news, however, is that Chiefs players are saying all the right things, and a veteran head coach like Andy Reid is going to have his team focused each and every week. The offense’s job will be a bit tougher without Hardman, who has five touchdowns in his last three games, but the Chiefs have more than enough talent and depth at receiver to take care of Jacksonville.
Hardman has been missing practice this week due to an abdomen issue that forced the team to rule him out for Week 10.
Here are the official inactive players for the Chiefs:
- Shane Buechele, QB
- Joshua Kaindoh, DE
- Darian Kinnard, OT
- Mecole Hardman, WR
- Ronald Jones, RB
- Nazeeh Johnson, DB
And here are the inactive players for the Jaguars:
