Sterling Holmes and Matt Conner return, looking back at a closer-than-expected Tennessee Titans game and the looming showdown with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Some games are memorable nail-biters that live on in the memories of NFL fans for better or worse because of the intense nature of a competitive game. Others fit that same description, but everyone is ready to move on the next day—and the latter is definitely true of the Kansas City Chiefs’ most recent win over the Tennessee Titans in Week 9.

The Chiefs hosted the Titans on Sunday Night Football and after scoring the game’s first 9 points, the offense went on their smoke break. Meanwhile, the Titans found their footing and Derrick Henry broke loose despite everyone in Arrowhead knowing he’d get the rock. The result was a crowd being forced to watch a more-talented team trail for most of a game before Patrick Mahomes finally willed the Chiefs to a win at the eleventh hour.

The win over the Titans was ugly, but there were also some important takeaways from it all. It was a playoff sort of game, a tough matchup that featured physical play, chippy opponents, and all-out effort for over 60 minutes.

On this episode of the Arrowhead Addict podcast, we break down the latest Chiefs win and look ahead a bit to the Jacksonville Jaguars’ visit in Week 10.
