The Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers are coming off losses and will face each other in Week 7. The Chiefs are getting healthier, while the Niners are dealing with major injuries.
The San Francisco 49ers are hosting the Kansas City Chiefs for one of the bigger clashes on the NFL’s schedule for Week 7 and there’s a lot at stake for both teams. For the Niners, they will fall under .500 within a very winnable division if they allow the Chiefs to steal a win on the road. For the Chiefs, they will lose two in a row if the Niners get the best of them, heading into the bye next week with significant questions.
The good news is that the odds favor the Chiefs, which they should in any showdown featuring Patrick Mahomes vs. Jimmy Garoppolo. That said, the Niners have a lot of star power on both sides of the ball and they’re getting healthier than they were a week ago. Of course, the same could be said of the Chiefs, who might see Trent McDuffie, Willie Gay, and others for the first time in weeks.
