Four Chiefs players who could reach their first Pro Bowl in 2022

Defensive back L’Jarius Sneed
If anyone has been underrated from day one, it is Chiefs defensive back L’Jarius Sneed.
A third-year DB out of Louisiana Tech, Sneed has only improved during his tenure with Kansas City. The Chiefs drafted him 138th overall in 2020 and quickly converted the then-safety to a cornerback, then a defensive weapon. Sneed already leads all cornerbacks with seven total pressures and three sacks through five games. Opposing offenses have little to counter Sneed’s speed on the outside. With a 92.1 grade, PFF grades him as Kansas City’s most effective pass-rusher. Everything is looking up, and the Chiefs Kingdom has a Need for Sneed.
Do you need some more proof? Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams was torching Chiefs cornerback Rashad Fenton. Adams is considered one of the league’s best wideouts, so his performance was not surprising. However, Sneed saw Adams and put him out of the game. Raiders quarterback Derek Carr, not to be confused with brother David Carr, who considers Raiders tight end Darren Waller to be better than Travis Kelce, only targeted Adams once. One time.
If Sneed can take Adams away while maintaining solid coverage through five games overall, he needs to be in this year’s Pro Bowl.
