Kansas City Chiefs
If you had any doubt that Travis Kelce is the greatest tight end in the NFL right now, maybe go watch the Monday Night game between the Raiders and Chiefs. Look, I say this every single week – HOW does he consistently and always get open like that? You would think at this point that teams would triple cover him on every single play. Do teams just want to lose? Do they love padding stats? Kelce was an absolute beast with 25 yards and 4 TOUCHDOWNS. Love that for him.

But it wasn’t all sunshine and daisies. The Chiefs really got off to a rough start, falling behind 17-0 before a controversial roughing the passer penalty was called.
What a garbage call on such a great play by Chris Jones. Either it’s tackle football or flag football. pic.twitter.com/qdQcajUMEz

This penalty was the kiss of death for the Raiders – not only did it wake up the Chiefs and light a fire, it also woke up the crowd. I have been to my fair share of games and I watch them religiously, but I can’t remember consistent verbal assaults hurled at the refs like what happened during this game. It was a symphony of boos, echoing chants of “bull****” that rained down and flipped this game.
Arrowhead is a tough venue to play; this crowd specifically made it impossible.
The Chiefs did lose Turk Wharton to a torn ACL which isn’t great given the struggles to rush the passer. They will need to address that and quickly as next week’s game is one for the ages.
Next week, I’ll be in attendance at one of the most highly anticipated games of the year: Chiefs vs. Bills. The Bills look like an offensive juggernaut and this could be the game that decides the playoff bye. The weather looks great and the Chiefs are coming off two big victories. The Bills sliced through the weak Steelers, but that was to be expected. This is Josh Allen vs. Patrick Mahomes. This will be great.
