The Kansas City Chiefs nail biting victory over the Raiders on Monday night was one for the books. Travis Kelce’s four TD night earns him the AA game ball.

The Chiefs and Raiders made another all-time installment to their storied rivalry on Monday Night Football when Kansas City topped Las Vegas by a final of 30-29. It was as intense as any game played between AFC West opponents thus far in 2022, and the heart of the Chiefs locker room absolutely stole the show.

Travis Kelce went nuclear on Monday, turning four of his seven receptions into scores. Hauling in four touchdowns in a game set a new record for his career, and also updated the Monday Night Football archives. Four is the new single game high for touchdowns on Kelce’s resume, and he is the first player to ever accomplish that feat on a Monday night. For that, he is deserving of the Week 5 Arrowhead Addict game ball.

It was just two short weeks ago that Chiefs Kingdom was up in arms about play calling and the Chiefs’ offense stalling out against the Indianapolis Colts, but those emotions seem incredibly distant after last night. Make no mistake, the Las Vegas Raiders are a good football team—whether their record reflects it or not—but the trusty connection between Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce is difficult for any team to overcome. Mahomes and Kelce will go down as one of the most dangerous combo’s in NFL history, and last night’s game will be shared like folklore for years to come.

Time and time again, in the face of adversity, Kelce just shows up. His four touchdowns on Monday were wildly impressive, but it is his consistency that that sets him apart. The guy celebrated his 33rd birthday last week and took the stage looking as fresh as ever on Monday.

It feels entirely unnecessary to say, but please, don’t take this time for granted. No matter what happens with the Chiefs’ 2022 season, let’s all celebrate Travis Kelce’s greatness and cherish each of these incredible moments we get to witness.
