Las Vegas Raiders

The Raiders took on a division rival in the Broncos while looking for their first (HA!) win of the season. The Raiders should be a better team than what they were showing in the first three weeks because they have a lot of talent on that team—a solid pass rush and star receivers. However, they do have Derek Carr, so who knows?

Regardless, the Raiders really needed a win and the Broncos have looked like a mess through the first stretch of the season. I think they are much worse than their record reflects while the Raiders are probably better than theirs reflects. Because of that, I thought the Raiders would win this one and I guess I was right.

Josh Jacobs and the Raiders defense carried the Raiders to a 32-23 win over the Broncos. The contract year really is undefeated.

Jacobs looks like he really wants a deal for next year.

If he could consistently put up these kinds of numbers, then maybe he will be in line for a new contract. It remains to be seen.

Next week, the Raiders come to KANSAS CITY to take on the dominant Chiefs. This is a Monday Night Football match-up that I cannot wait for. The Chiefs are coming off an incredible beat down of the Buccaneers and the Raiders are hoping to work back to .500. Raiders-Chiefs games are always a good time and this one looks to be a great one. I still think the Raiders have a lot to work out, but I predict a close game that ends in a Chiefs victory.
