The laughter you hear is everyone trying to come to terms with what Patrick Mahomes can do on a football field.

The Kansas City Chiefs’ visit to Tampa Bay to face the Buccaneers in Week 4 was supposed to be a matchup of the two most popular players in the NFL facing off to work their magic against the strong defense of the other team. So far, it’s been a one-sided showing for the Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes.

While there’s still plenty of time for Tom Brady to work some magic of his own, the truth is that the game has been all-Mahomes and company for one quarter and part of another. And after already showing off tremendous accuracy, impressive running skills, and a beautiful deep ball. Mahomes decided to put on a jaw-dropping series of moves for the Chiefs third touchdown of the night in the second quarter.

When being chased out of the pocket on a second down with goal-to-go, Mahomes not only eluded the first pass rusher chasing him but then put a spin move on another defender before stopping short of the line of scrimmage and fooling every defender by tossing the ball over their head into the waiting arms of running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire.

If you missed the play that made every NFL fan laugh out loud at the absurdity of it all, you can see it here.

It was a reminder to everyone that Mahomes is in a class all his own and that he’s a player capable of doing things on the field that no one would even think of doing at times.
