The sun has risen on another NFL Sunday, and for Chiefs Kingdom, it will be one on which they can sit back, relax and enjoy. After Kansas City’s dramatic victory over the Los Angeles Chargers on Thursday night, Chiefs fans can enjoy the football action with that warm, cozy feeling of knowing that their side already has a win on the board.

And what a fantastic feeling it is.

I don’t know why, but I find there is something incredibly satisfying about watching football after a win. Maybe it’s getting to watch teams battle it out to try and earn something that your team already has. Or maybe it’s seeing fans at the stadium during a tight game reacting with nerves or frustration and knowing you don’t feel that way.

Whatever the reason behind that feeling might be, it sure is a good one.

Chiefs Kingdom is set for a relaxing Sunday of NFL action, a nice place to be after an important Thursday Night Football victory over the Chargers.

Thursday Night Football has its pros and its cons but getting to head into a weekend slate with a win already on the board is a huge, huge plus. It is nice to not have to stress about an upcoming game or worry about what might happen, and the Chiefs being out of action is also a bonus simply from a practical point of view.

With the game already done, Kansas City fans can watch whatever game they want to without having to miss any of the Chiefs’ action. It is a perfect chance to get to see other teams across the league in action without missing out on some of Kansas City’s games.

Whether it’s an intriguing divisional game or a tight matchup that ends up going into overtime, Chiefs fans can watch whatever takes their fancy. And all the while we can do so safe in the knowledge that the Chiefs have already had a great weekend before it even started.
