Chargers lose Corey Linsley to knee injury vs. Chiefs

The Chargers have lost starting center Corey Linsley to a knee injury during their game against the Chiefs in Week 2.
The L.A. Chargers have lost starting center Corey Linsley to start the second half of their game against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 2. Reports came through that Linsley is sitting with a knee injury suffered earlier and is questionable to return, per his designation,
The Chargers went with center Will Clapp in the middle to start the second half at Arrowhead Stadium as Justin Herbert and the offense got the first possession.
Linsley was a big free agent pickup a year ago for the Chargers who have impressively remade their offensive line over the last couple of years. Lindsay, a former member of the Green Bay Packers for years, was a big ticket free agent to take over the middle for a new franchise quarterback in Herbert and the Bolts also added a couple of first-round picks in back-to-back drafts in left tackle Rashawn Slater and guard Zion Johnson.
The Chiefs have gotten very little pressure so far on Herbert so this might open a window of opportunity for some disruption from the interior, a la Chris Jones, but so far the Chargers have looked impressive up front.
