Here’s a couple of bets I’m using my free $150 on in the Chiefs’ opener:

Best Chiefs vs Cardinals Bets for $150 Promo

Chiefs 1H -3.5 (-110) vs Cardinals

After scoring a touchdown on every drive Mahomes played during the preseason, the Chiefs’ new-look offense is ready to roll. This is easily the deepest group of skill position players Mahomes has had in Kansas City. With the offensive line among the NFL’s best, Reid and Mahomes will keep defenses guessing constantly.

I expect an angry yet focused first half from Kansas City after spending all offseason thinking about the AFC Championship collapse. Arizona was 2-6 against the spread in the first half at home last year, and the Cardinals are missing star wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins due to suspension.

These are teams going in opposite directions. The Chiefs should take advantage early, building an insurmountable lead as Mahomes reminds the NFL who the best quarterback in the game is.

Clyde Edwards-Helaire to Score a Touchdown (+130)

The former first-round pick is finally healthy and I think a big year is in store for Kansas City’s starting running back. He started every preseason game, looking strong in the process.

Since defenses have so many offensive threats to account for now, there should be ample running lanes for Edwards-Helaire to take advantage of. Playing behind perhaps the NFL’s best offense line doesn’t hurt, either.

Arizona’s run defense was among the league’s worst last year, surrendering 4.6 yards per carry. Edwards-Helaire scored four touchdowns over the final five weeks of the regular season and has always received a healthy dose of touches inside the red zone. At +130, I love the chances he gets a touchdown against the Cardinals’ leaky defense.
