Week 16: vs Seattle Seahawks (12:00, FOX)

Again, like the game against the Texans, there sn;t much to say about this game. Seattle is short on talent throughout their roster. They’re very young on the offensive line and Drew Lock could be their starting quarterback at this point of the season. What else is there to be said?

Result: Chiefs WIN 37-17 and climb to 10-5.

Week 17: vs Denver Broncos (12:00, CBS)

In the rematch of three weeks ago, the Broncos and Chiefs are now both 10-5. Both teams are fighting for the divisional crown along with the Chargers, who I also project to be 10-5 prior to this week. The winner of this game would immediately become the favorites for the division title over both the loser of this game and the Chargers.

In the end, the Chiefs still own the Broncos and have won thirteen straight matchups against them heading into this season. I projected them to make it fourteen in Week 14 and I think that they will make it fifteen consecutive victories in this game. I don’t care if Russell Wilson is their quarterback and I don’t care that their new coach aided Aaron Rodgers in winning consecutive MVPs, Patrick Mahomes is better than Wilson and Andy Reid is better than Nathaniel Hackett. End of story.

Result: Chiefs WIN 23-20 and go to 11-5.

Week 18: at Las Vegas Raiders (TBD)

In the regular season finale, time TBD, the Chiefs will travel to Vegas in hopes of finishing off their regular season at 12-5 for the second consecutive year.

I projected the Raiders to be 8-8 coming into this game as I don’t think that adding Davante Adams will improve the offense as much as people think it will. I also do not buy Josh McDaniels as a head coach and I need to see it to believe it. There’s not much else to be said that I didn’t go over when analyzing the first matchup.

Kansas City should and will win this game to finish the season at 12-5.

Result: Chiefs WIN 33-23 and finish the year 12-5.
