Week 13: at Cincinnati Bengals (3:25, CBS)

In another playoff rematch from the 2021-22 playoffs, the Chiefs head to Cincinnati aiming to serve up a cold dish of revenge. The Bengals will, of course, be led by their young superstars Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase and young head coach Zac Taylor.

Kansas City fans don’t need to be reminded of the results from their two matchups last year as the Bengals came out on top in both the regular season and playoff games.

Similar to the Titans, the Chiefs have seemed to struggle against the Bengals as of late, no matter who is under center, and they’ve especially struggled in the city of Cincinnati as they have not won a regular season or playoff game in the city since 1984.

Unfortunately, I do not see that streak coming to an end as the Bengals continue to terrorize Kansas City and hand them another defeat.

Result: Chiefs LOSE 27-20 and fall to 7-5.

Week 14: at Denver Broncos (7:20, NBC)

This will be the first-ever meeting between the Russell Wilson-led Denver Broncos and the Kansas City Chiefs. The schedule that the NFL decided to run with didn’t have the first Denver-Kansas City matchup until the middle of December. Whether that will serve to benefit either team remains to be seen but the first game couldn’t have more at stake.

At this point in the season, I project Kansas City to be at 7-5, while I have the Broncos at 9-3. If KC loses, their hopes at seven-peating in the AFC West will be all but over. If KC wins, they control their own destiny. This game will be critical but I feel that Kansas City will begin to turn it around after the Cincinnati loss and begin to peak.

Result: Chiefs WIN 29-24 and rise to 8-5.

Week 15: at Houston Texans (12:00, CBS)

Not much to say here but the Chiefs should very easily come out and top against a Houston team that will surely be picking in the top 5 again in next year’s NFL Draft.

Result: Chiefs WIN 45-13 and improve to 9-5.
